IT ' S O F F I C I A L ! ! !

One month from today Nick and I will be moving into our very own apartment in Rexburg, Idaho! I am so beyond excited! The place is fully furnished thankfully. So we don't have to buy big furniture items right away. It is furnished with a bed, a desk, a bookshelf, a couch, and a small food area with a refrigerator, sink, microwave, and hot plate. We will be in that apartment for a little while and then move to a bigger one when we have the chance! I am so excited!

in need of a new view.

I have been so freaked out lately by how badly I want to move back to Idaho. I don't really like Idaho that much because, well, it's kind of boring. There isn't much to do (especially in Rexburg) and I get bored easily. Now granted, I didn't have Nicolas there with me, but it was still pretty boring. However, I find myself wanting to move back there so badly. I don't know if it's because I am tired of living with my parents already or I just want to be on my own or something else, but all I know is I need to get the heck out of here as soon as I can so that I don't go crazy. At least if I had a job I feel like it would make life a lot easier and useful. I just feel like I am floating. I clean the house to keep myself busy. And there is only so much you can clean before the whole thing is spick and span. I just don't want to go completely insane...

-Sydney Taylor Bruning - Part Two - Year Two -

Saturday was two years.

Time flies baby girl.

I can hardly believe it has been two years since I said goodbye to you. I can still see your bright red lips that I could see from across the room. I can still feel the hole in my chest when I saw you laying there. When I looked at you and just prayed that your eyes would open... But they didn't.

I saw a picture of you a couple weeks ago and it made me smile. I think for a split second I forgot you were gone. I saw the smile on your face and it felt like you were still here. I would give anything for that. I hope you know that I love you and I still miss you. I always will. The pain that I felt will never leave my memory. The pain is lesser now, but I still remember just how powerful it was. I still remember it.. and I always will.

Sydney, I hope you're doing okay up there. I know that you are safe and in good hands. That's what makes me happy. I know you are going to be okay and I know you are okay. I hope you are looking out for us down here. We love you syd. I hope you know that,

Red lips and a laugh to fill a room,

A beautiful smile,

A beautiful girl.

She made the day brighter

She made the night more cheerful.

She knew how to make you smile

She knew how to keep your spirits up

Then one day we lost her.

We lost her laugh

and her smile

and her spirit.

But we will always remember those red lips

we will always remember her laugh

we will always remember her smile

we will always remember Sydney Taylor Bruning.

overdue, but understood

I am M A R  R I E D!!
It's official, I am Mrs. Dorsett!

How crazy is that?!
It feels like I have waited forever for this, but its going by so fast already!

We have been married for 27 days already....? Its already almost been a full month!

I need a minute for that to process..

So just as an update...

/// we are living in my parents basement for the moment. we are currently searching for jobs. which is going okay, i guess. however, we are so grateful for my parents generosity in letting us stay here. we will probably be here until late, or mid april. when april comes around we will be moving out to rexburg, idaho. we will not be going back to school until that next fall. upon our return to idaho we will move in to an apartment and get jobs to start settling in. then after we have things under control for a couple months we will begin school again for the fall 2015 semester.///

Here are a couple of pictures from the wedding day! They are not great quality. Reason being they are scans. My amazing photographer gave me a few prints from the day. So the real pictures will be better quality, obviously. Oh my photographer is Kelli Brewer! Her website is kellibrewer.com so you should check her out! Plus, my wedding should be posted on there soon too! But for now here are some pictures!
